Did you know? Preference Projects™ are designed so that they engage the learner in Whole Brain activities. Whole Brain Learning improves IQ and overall brain function. It has been said that actual pathways form between the left and right brain when Whole Brain Learning takes place at a formative age!

Did you know? Preference Projects™ are designed so that children retain information through Associative Learning. Preference Based Learning enables learners to associate information with thoughts and preferences, already existing in the brain. Those preferences are the glue that will hold those ideas in place for a lifetime!

This Preference Project™ is about Spring Constellations! Explore and investigate 4 well-known constellations that appear during the Spring months  and select your personal favorite.

The night sky is not the same every time you go outside and gaze up into the heavens. Winter, Summer, Spring, and Fall all look different at night. Spring is a wonderful time to look at the night sky. That’s because it’s warmer and more fun to be outside. But it’s also because the patterns of the stars (called constellations) visible during the Spring months make shapes that tell a story and engage the imagination. Each constellation has its own pattern and shape. Some are hard to locate, while others are much easier. The history and the interesting stories about each of the Spring constellations are unique and fascinating. In this book, you'll get to decide which are your favorites! Here are the 4 constellations you'll get to choose from:

Corona Borealis

Outdoor Project

Art Project

Writing Project

Copywork Project

Brackets Exercise

Forum and Blogging Activities

We enjoyed including this product in our astronomy studies. I wish there were other seasons to include, we had to wait until spring to do the activities but it was well worth the wait. We started studying astronomy in January and I would have liked doi [...]

I highly recommend this project, or any in the series, for a great add-on or break from the norm. In Spring Constellations your children learn several key concepts about the constellations while reproducing the constellations, writing their own myths, [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
