A sure sign of seasonal change is the sighting of birds, butterflies, and other animals traveling north during migration. Your children can report sightings or check out others kid's' updates of the migrations they see, from hummingbirds to sea turtles, on various Web sites. They can explore not only how birds but also other animals-such as whales-migrate.
