Back to School Special
Through Aug 31 2009.
Simple Down to earth planner that can be used to plan your 7th grade and up child's curriculum or log it after the fact if you are an unschooler. There are Curriculum Planner pages as well as daily logs that can help you record what you plan to use.
There are also course description forms that may well be filled best after the course is finished Just fill them in with the information from your daily logs. I have included enough log pages for a full year of homeschooling and a few extras if you need them.
This book will make a nice companion to your portfolio when you try to enroll into college courses. Although it is intended for grade 7 and up it may well work for younger students. The flash preview has been adjusted so you can see the whole book to see if it suits your needs.
A HUGE Thanks to those who have left feedback! Thank you Bonnie for letting me know about the Wowio Link I was unaware that they featured that type of book it was definitely not appropriate for my website!.
As for the other comments. Yes this planner has copies of the same several pages. This planner grew out of a need. ALL planners including calendars have a similar format. They have one page with space for each week or month. This planner is intended to take to the printer like Staples of Office Depot and have Spiral bound with a laminated cover. I used it for the day to day stuff when we were away from the computer and Homeschool Tracker. Could I have just had one copy of each form and then mentioned that it be copied yes but my experience homeschooling through high school has shown that you do not know in September how many weeks your student will be studying any course. It is hard to get additional pages added to a spiral bound book should you need them at the end of the year but extras can be neatly removed.
You will notice there are more than 52 weeks in it That is because we schooled Year Round and used many different outsourced programs and co-ops some of our classes ran September to September, others ran January to January. Almost like running two or three school years consecutively. Having the planner really helped to keep things straight.
We were required to track hours as far as I know there are not many other paper planners that do this but you will notice at the bottom of the page there is room to keep track of your time.
The planner we originally purchased, which did Not meet our needs, was $15.00 and we had to buy 1 for each student each year for their portfolio review.
If you are having Financial difficulties Pleas email me to request a coupon for a greatly reduced price.
