This 27-page unit is a very relaxed study of the history, geography, and symbols of your state designed to help your elementary-aged children learn how to find information about their state on their own and relate it to others in an understandable way. When you're finished, each of your children will have their own notebook of information that they have completed themselves!

Twenty-one pages are ready-to-use notebook pages for your child to complete. These can be printed off and 3-hole punched for a folder or slipped into page protectors and put in a binder. All pages are reproducible for your families personal use.

I created this study for my own 10-year-old daughter. She did hers on states we have lived in, California and Texas, but your child will fill in the pages with information about your state, states you've traveled to, or all 50 states! I like to call these "notebook starters" because they get the kids started thinking and they always add something to the pages I created.
