I recently (finally!) downloaded this product during the Free Weekend. Literally 3 days later, my husband said, "You really ought to teach [our 5.5 yr old daughter] to tell time. She's constantly bugging me to tell her how many minutes it is." Hey wow, I thought, I can try Math Mammoth Clock! So I printed it, 3-hole punched it, put it in a clear binder, and left it where my daughter (who typically resists any teaching I push on her) would find it. She picked it up, started reading and grabbed a pencil. Two days later, she is telling time to the half-hour! With about 20 minutes of input and help from me!
At this point, I think I will discourage her from going past the "half-hour" stage, in order to avoid frustration with more mature concepts. I'll stop her after the AM/PM section (18 pages in to a 58pg booklet) and direct her back to our Big-expensive-curriculum Math Book. But I am extremely impressed with the quality of this worktext.
