This unit is great in that it covers eveything related to trains - from the symbols to the types of cars trains have. The hisorical pages include a comprehension quiz which is always useful for children who are just trying to get finished and are not actually taking note of what has been written Also the notebooking pages for a written narration or any notes your children may need to make allow a more Charlotte Mason approach. I found this unit well balanced between reading, narration and notebooking, drawing, puzzles, and even a few research and project options at the end. A good unit for boys! The only factor that was a disappointment for me was that it was based on American History, I would have like to have seen more on a global scale.
