DungeonMorphs: Cities, Ruins, & Villages brings the same "connect mini-maps together" concept of our original DungeonMorphs to various settlement types!

This set has all 90 City (30), Ruins (30 more), and Village (30 more) designs from our matching dice sets.  Get them as a print-it-yourself PDF at 6"x6" per design or as the PDF and printed on 6"x6" cards and mailed to you. Also included is a PDF with the maps as 2.5"x2.5" tiles.  This PDF with the 2.5"x2.5" maps also includes a mirrored version of each map/tile for even more combinations!

Each design has two roads placed at the same points on each side, so any two designs can be placed adjacent to enlarge the map. Number and letter codes match the codes on the dice if you want to use them together (not required.)  These letter codes can also be used to jot down the placement and position of the tiles (if tile1F is 90-degrees clockwise, write "1F" 90-degrees clockwise, etc.)

Inkwell Ideas makes many useful tabletop RPG accessories, including the following:

Awesome product, beyond awesome actually. And I just have a pdf at the moment. Dice are likely pure amusement.

Question though. The pdf shows 3 left side images, and the right side images appear to be reversed mirror images. What is the idea behind the mirror images? Reverse side of cards? I'm still confused, that would seem pointless. Or is it really just to double the images? Because the reversed identifiers seems clumsy. 3I in reverse is something I can't type. I know I can load the pdf into a graphics program and input something different, but most likely are not interested in doing that or able.

Otherwise though, this product will be a snap to make useful in many ways. Printed on card stock and presto a great randomizer product for the DM.
Or print out to label paper in correct size and attach to inexpensive dice. Wouldn't be as nice as your dice though. I have plenty of poker card products though, so I'm not aiming for cards.

Are the "cards" like a poker deck or more like "tiles"?

thanks!

I have the "Dungeons" version of this and they're 2.5" x 2.5" cards about the thickness and consistency of playing cards. Here's an image from their website: http://dungeonmorphs.com/images/dcards.jpg

Actually, the 2.5"x2.5" are what we sell on our own website. These are 6"x6", so more like tiles.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
