Dyslexia Games - Series B (Ages 8-14)

A FUN Solution for Reading Confusion!

READING, WRITING & SPELLING!

Creative Art & Puzzle Therapy. Mind Training Exercises for Kids with Symptoms of Dyslexia!

Dyslexia Games can help kids to overcome symptoms of Dyslexia, including reading confusion,
poor handwriting & letter reversals. KIDS LOVE OUR GAMES!

Quick Facts About Dyslexia Games:

  • Dyslexia Games is based on the latest research about how visual thinkers learn. (Most children with Dyslexia, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, and Autism are visual thinkers).
  • There are two unique series of Dyslexia Games workbooks. Series A for children who read at a 1st grade level or lower, and Series B for children 8 or older, who can read at a 2nd grade level or higher.
  • Each series provides at least 180 activity pages.
  • Students need very little assistance to complete the activities. The Games tap into the child's natural intuition and creative problem solving skills.
  • Children may complete the activities in-class or as homework.
  • Our worksheets offer the students a chance to exercise their minds, to be creative, and to make new neurological connections. There is no need to "grade" the worksheets or point out mistakes, simply observe progress over time.
  • Our games are used by Special Education Teachers & Therapists, Schools, Homeschool Co-ops and Homeschooling Families around the world.
  • Dyslexia Games is an excellent tool for assisting ESL (English as a second language) students learn to read, write, and spell successfully.
  • Students with a variety of learning disabilities benefit from using Dyslexia Games:

    • ADHD
    • Aspergers Syndrome
    • Autism
    • Dyscalcula
    • Dysgraphia
    • General Learning Disability (LD)

Testimonials

"Priceless!"

“I would like to thank you for the Dyslexia books. My daughter, who is severely dyslexic, went through all of the books in less than a month because she loved them so much! They really helped boost herself esteem as well as reading and writing. She would do them when frustrated with other school work as well as during free time. It was something she could do on her own independently from me and provide a sense of accomplishment! Once she completed one she would rush for me to check so she could color and fill in the back ground. Thank you so much! Her question is mom don't they have more? Especially the drawing and pattern ones. Priceless! Can't thank you enough!”

-Heather Cook, Homeschooling Parent

"Exercise Their Brains"

"Over the course of the day I am bombarded by resources and I struggle to decide on what I should post on the What’s New page. This caught my eye. Maybe you have seen their advertisement on your main Facebook page? Check out Dyslexia Games for a resource to help students who struggle with Reading, Writing, and Spelling that is caused by Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD or other challenges. These games could just be used by homeschooling moms who want their kids to “exercise their brains” during non-schooling hours!"

-Paul Faris, President of HSLDA (Quote from "What's New")

"Hope and Encouragement"

Recently, I was pleased to discover Dyslexia Games. They are an enchanting and innovative way to address the unique challenges kids with dyslexia and related difficulties face. These games are practical tools, but most important of all, they are fun!  Besides the games, the website is a source of hope and encouragement for parents of children with special needs."

-Dr. James Pendleton, FL

"Thank You!"

"My son absolutely loves Dyslexia Games!!!  He is so excited to do the worksheets.   I feel like they are teaching him the fine motor skills that he needs.  Having a diagnosis of Asperger’s Disorder was terrifying for us.  The inspiration you have shared with us has opened up a whole new world to my husband and I.  We look at things differently and I feel closer to the way our son sees the world.  For that I am forever grateful ."

 -Elisa Carter

"It was like a light bulb turned on in his brain"

“My seven year old son struggles so much with reading, writing and spelling.  I love homeschooling my son, but it can be hard at times when he doesn't enjoy anything I try with him.  I just downloaded the free worksheets offered by Dyslexia Games and gave one sheet to him.  WOW!!!!!!!  He completed the WHOLE sheet without ANY delay, interruptions, or whining!  He loved the puzzle games and completed his first worksheet perfectly!  Now he is asking for more.  I was amazed!  It was like a light bulb turned on in his brain and my husband and I just sat and watched in pure joy!”

- Kim Boykin

"They do NOT complain at all!"

"My 8 year old daughter has dyslexia.  She recently started her Dyslexia Games workbooks and LOVES them!  My son is 9, he's not dyslexic but he struggles with visual processing issues.  He also has Aspergers. He is doing the workbooks too and also loves them! They both feel that the games are challenging, yet fun and they do NOT complain at all about doing them which is a FIRST for both of them! Thank you!"

- Stephanie

"Seeing Improvement"

"My son is loving Dyslexia Games, and I'm seeing some improvement!  He actually likes doing it! What an awesome program! Thank you!"

-Michelle

"Tools for Life!"

"An education is one of the most important gifts a parent can provide for a child. As with any profession, be it medicine, plumbing or mechanics, unique tools are required to accomplish the expected task. "The Dyslexia Games Learning Program" is a freshly innovative educational tool which has the potential to help a child overcome common learning challenges associated with Dyslexia and ADHD."

-Dr. Scott Smith, D.O.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
